What is Megurin?
- Megurin is a community bus operated by Taito Ward of Tokyo.
- Megurin runs five routes in Taito Ward and partially in Bunkyo Ward of Tokyo.Megurin is operated all year round.
- Megurin runs every 15 to 20 minutes.
- You get on the bus from the front door; you get off the bus from the rear door.
- You pay the bus fare in advance.
- The bus fare is 100 Yen; no child or senior discount is available.
- 1,000 Yen bill is accepted when you pay the bus fare for 100 Yen; 5,000 Yen or 10,000 yen bull are accepted.
- You can use prepaid IC cards such as Suica and PASMO to pay the fare (100 Yen).
- A one-day ticket is available for 300 Yen; you can take any routes of Megurin bus at any extra cost on a day.
- You can purchase a one-day ticket on the bus, but you cannot use prepaid IC cards to buy one.
- Some facilities of Taito Ward offer a discount on admission if you present your one-day ticket of Megurin.

Megurin North-South Route has the following features:
- Starting from Ueno Station Iriya Exit, it runs clockwise in the major part of Taito Ward.
- The operating interval is about 20 minutes.
- It takes about 80 minutes per round.
- Major stops are Asakusa, Kuramae, Asakusabashi, Ueno, Minowa, and Yoshiwara.

This ticket is valid only on the issued day. You can transfer for free by giving it to the driver when you transfer to the other route of Megurin.
